to let go

dreamt of having
a bird adorned
with colors i can never tell,
it was such a beauty
that i can’t take
my eyes off him.
he never sing,
but he boasted on
how pretty he was
when he flies.

then he suddenly
flew past me.
leaving me wanting.
i so want to
fly with him..
but then i want to
just stare at him.
his feathers glowed
with his sudden move.
his wings are broad
makes me envious
in his world.

so i made a trap…
and locked him
inside a cage…
he’s no longer free…
and can never again fly.

but i noticed,
the sadness,
the pain,
and the questions
in his eyes.
i turn away,
afraid.

he refused to eat…
so i let him go.
i saw in him once again,
the glint of
joy.
i never owned him,
yet i know he is mine.
letting him go means
i can see him fly.

he flew until i can
no longer see.
in my heart is sadness,
yet with a happy smile i said,
“I’ll be seeing you
once again.”

If Only

it would be nice
to have my time again…
i’ve been giving it..
selling them away…
now, i want them back,

it would be sweet
to have my childhood again…
i grew up so so fast,
before i knew it
im on my last stop.

it would be great
to have my confidence back…
my flames flickered, then succumb,
to the pressures…
to the heavy rains…

it would be lovely,
to move again so freely,
in this impeccable society.
would it be so lovely…
to f’nally found “me”.

karma

Taking your heart
ripping them apart
Asking you to move on
without saying what’s wrong.

Turning to a different path
starting a journey, without looking back.
No more traces of you can be seen
I’ll bury the memories within.

In a matter of time,
you’ll be out of my mind.
Now, stop hanging, stop waiting.
I wont be coming back again.

No more love, everything’s gone
accept now, I’m not the one
If Fate would be fair,
Karma’s coming to meet me again.

Save your love for someone new
I am telling you, we are through.
Pain and hatred, it’ll soon pass.
something never really lasts.

If one day you’ll be seeing me in misery
means that Karma was able to find me
By that time for sure you are happy
Knowing how lucky you are for not having me.

Change the time direction,
Looking back to things I’ve done,
Karma is in action,
Sins are facing me one by one.

Lies I told,
Now are being unfold,
Those hurtful words I’ve spoken,
It can’t be forgiven.

Entourage are turning their backs on me,
Leaving me off guard,
I foreseen the arrival of misery,
With me now it won’t be apart.

“What goes around, comes around”,
A path to redeem is nowhere to be found,
“What goes up most come down”,
Laughs and joy is now no longer a happy sound.
