contemplating…
for this week’s three word wednesday
the shroud that’s
transparent enough
not to hide what’s
making me tremble
scared
vulnerable
is slipping right before
my very eyes…
the gloom that comes
with the knowledge
of not being able
to do something to
shield myself
from further embarassment
of letting you see
me bleed for you…
i am seeing my heart
getting bruised;
kneeling before it
i feel my body shake
as i contemplate on
picking it up
mending it
or letting it dry
and wait for the winds
to blow it away…

Aw, ya always gotta pick up and carry on. Broken hearts are par for the course of life. In fact, they’re probably a necessity for completion of personality.
